Tania has been teaching pilates from the mat to the reformer for over 20 years. Pilates was one of her first fitness trainings and certifications and the love she has for it keeps growing. As trends in fitness come and go, the pilates method of balance, alignment, control and focus always stands the test of time. Whether it is for rehabilitation of an injury or simply to bring the body back into alignment, the reformer meets everyone’s needs exactly where they are. Joanna Marie Nicholson – Bio

Joanna is a Pilates and fitness instructor from Toronto who believes in living life to the fullest while embracing health, fitness and whole-body wellness.

Joanna’s journey into the world of movement can be traced back to her days as a competitive dancer. This early foundation instilled in her a deep understanding of the body, rhythm, and the joy of movement. Transitioning from the stage to the fitness studio, Joanna now dedicates herself to sharing this passion with a diverse clientele.

Joanna received her Pilates certifications from Equinox and Muse Movement. An advocate of lifelong learning, Joanna invests in furthering her skills, ensuring that she remains at the cutting edge of instruction. She is a believer in the transformative power of Pilates and has witnessed first-hand how it can benefit every body—regardless of age or fitness level.

Beyond her fitness accomplishments, Joanna holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queen’s University, a postgraduate diploma in communications and public relations from Centennial College and a culinary arts diploma from George Brown College.
